2024-2028 Utility Rate Study
An approved increase to water, sewer, and recycling rates was recently approved on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the Regular City Council Meeting. The City has not raised utility rates since 2014. Since then, the city has been able to effectively support the repairs and maintenance of the City’s utility infrastructure as well as successfully provide utility services to its residents. However, costs have significantly increased over the past ten years, and the City is planning for major improvements to both water and sewer systems over the next five years. Staff conducted the 2024-2028 Utility Rate Study and used it to help determine and plan for rates.
